Ques 1. How can I apply for
admission to the academic session 2020-21?
Ans. Any candidate who desires to
seek admission to UG courses in the colleges
affiliated to state universities of
Haryana can click on dheadmissions.nic.in to access the
portal for registration and login to
fill the admission form. The online portal shall direct
the candidate to an integrated
admission form.
Ques 2. What are the documents required?
Ans. The scanned copies of the
following original documents should be ready with
the candidate:
1. Latest Passport Size photograph.
2. Signature on white paper.
3. Class X Detailed Marks
Certificate (for boards other than CBSE and Haryana
State Board)
4. Class XII Detailed Marks
Certificate (for boards other than CBSE and Haryana
State Board)
5. Undergraduate Course Final Year
Detailed Marks Certificate if applicable
6. Migration Certificate
7. Caste/Category Certificate (if
applicable)
8. BPL Certificate (if applicable)
9. Weightage Certificate (If
applicable, such as NCC, NSS, Rural area)
10.Domicile / Bonafide Resident
Certificate (if applicable)
11.Gap Year Affidavit (if

Ques 3. What is the minimum age
required as on 1st January of the academic year?
Ans. There is no age limit for
eligible students.
Ques 4. Are students from outside
Haryana eligible to register?
Ans . Yes, students from outside
Haryana are also eligible to apply for admission in UG
classes/courses in College
affiliated with State Universities. .
Ques 5. How many seats are reserved
for outside students?
Ans. Outside students can apply in
All India Open Category & 15% of the total seats
are reserved for All India Open
Category.
Ques 6 : If a candidate applies for
both reserved and general categories, which
category shall be considered first?
Ans. A candidate who applies for
both reserved and general category will be
considered first in the general
category. In case he is not selected in the general
category, he will be considered for
the reserved category for which he has applied.
Ques 7: What if a candidate is
covered under more than one reserved category?
Ans. If a candidate is covered under
more than one reserved category, he/she shall be
required to give his/her preference
in respect of categories applied at the time of filling
of the admission form. Preference
once given cannot be changed.
Ques 8. What if the student fails
to register before the deadline?
Ans. A student may register / apply
for online admission even after the deadline. But,
he / she will not be given a place
in the merit lists and shall have to compete in the
open online counselling for
admissions if seats are available. The student may call on

Ques 9. I have made an error in my
application. Whom should I contact to get it
changed?
Ans. Information filled once cannot
be changed thereafter.
Ques 10. What to do if any document
is rejected / gets objected during verification?
Ans. If a document is rejected due
to some reasons during online verification, the
applicant will receive an SMS to
re-upload the correct document on the application form
within 48 hours of receiving the
SMS. No physical presence of the applicant shall be
required to revise the document.
Ques 11. What is the basis for an
admission decision?
Ans. The scanned copies of the
original documents submitted by the candidates will be
verified first and then merit lists
will be generated. Admissions will be purely based on
merit.
Ques 12. Is there any provision of
financial assistance for the needy students?
Ans. For the purpose of financial
assistance, various programs and scholarship
schemes are available and desiring /
needy students can go through these schemes as
mentioned in the Online Joint
Prospectus.
Ques 13. Can I apply to several
courses at a time?
Ans. Yes, a candidate can apply for
multiple courses at a time. One can choose up to
five colleges and up to five courses
in each college. The candidate can further select a
minimum of one and up to as many
combinations as he/she wants.
Ques 14. How long will it take to
fill the application form?
Ans. The candidate should plan on
spending approximately 30 minutes to finish and
review the form. He must have the
scanned copies of all the required documents
available to him at the time of
filling of the form. Be careful, no option to make changes
in the form will be available once
the application form is submitted successfully.
Ques 15. Is the whole admission
process online?
Ans. Yes. Due to the COVID-19
pandemic, the complete admission process will be
conducted online.
Ques 16. My result has been
declared, but I do not have my mark sheet. What
document should I upload?
Ans. At the time of filling the
form, the candidate can upload the online result declared
by the concerned board.
Ques 17. Whom do I contact if I am
having technical issues with the online
application system?
Ans. The Help Desk is available to
help applicants troubleshoot any problems with
the online application system. It
can be reached via a phone call on the toll- free
number 1800-137-3735 (9:00AM to
6:00PM - all working days) or via email at
admissions2021@highereduhry.com .
Ques 18. My school used CGPA scale.
How do I fill in the CGPA section in the
online application?
Ans. While filling the online form,
the candidate will have to check the box of CGPA in
the qualification tab. This will
automatically convert the CGPA scores into percentage.
Ques 19. How can I check the status
of my application?
Ans. Once you successfully register
yourself on the online portal, you will be allotted a
registration number. You can check
your application status through the admission portal
using the same or by logging in with
the registration ID and password.
Ques 20. Can I migrate from one
college/university to the other?
Ans. A student can migrate only from
one college to another college if both the
colleges fall under the same
university. Migration from one university to another
university is not allowed.
Ques 21. What is the migration
process?
Ans. Please refer to the prospectus
of concerned university for migration process.
Ques 23. I have submitted my
application. When can I expect to obtain an
admission?
Ans. After the online form
registration process is complete, the document verification
process will be done post which the
First Merit list and thereafter Second Merit list will
be displayed online as per schedule
notified.
Ques 24. How does the waiting
process work?
Ans. After the First and the Second
Merit list, if seats are still vacant, late admission
will be allowed through online open
counselling on merit basis.
Ques 25. I missed my deadline to pay
and my acceptance is expired. Can I still be
placed back in the course?
Ans. If you have missed the deadline
to pay, and you still wish to pay and enroll,
please call on the toll free numbers
1800-137-3735 (9:00AM to 6:00PM, all working
days). Offers are reinstated and
late payments may be accepted in case if there is any
vacant seat in the concerned
courses.
Ques 26. Is it important to have a
Caste or Tribe certificate in the name of a
candidate?
Ans: Yes, if the candidate is
applying under any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH),
then, he/she must upload the scanned
copy of Caste/Tribe/PwD certificate. The
certificate must be signed by any
competent authority. Moreover, the certificates should
be in the name of the candidate
only. The OBC certificate must also specify that the
candidate belongs to the non- creamy
layer (NCL) and that the caste is listed in the
Central Government list.
Ques 27. During the online payment,
the amount has been deducted from my
account but the status is still
showing 'pending' on the UG admission portal.
Ans: Sometimes, it takes time for
the amount to be transferred to the University's
account (i.e. realization of fee
payment). If the candidate’s payment is not realized for
more than two days, then he/she may
send an email to the technical query mail-desk
mentioning all the details of the
transaction. Such types of queries will be taken up for
resolving after the closing date of
online registration process.
